WHERE WE ARE
WBC is on a three-acre riverfront property, the Hines Rowing Center (HRC), in Whitemarsh Township at 801 Washington Street, just east and downstream from the Borough of Conshohocken in Pennsylvania. This is 10 miles upriver from Boathouse Row in Philadelphia. The HRC can be reached from the nearby major routes I-76 and I-476. The major bridge through Conshohocken, the Fayette Street Bridge, is where people on the southwest side of the river will cross over to the northeast side. The property is on Washington Street, which parallels the Schuylkill River on its east side and parallels the SEPTA R-6 regional train line. Please see the map below for general location and directions.
Whitemarsh members can use the parking spaces closest to the side red building, next to it or in the angled spots. Participants in programs will get information from their coaches about what to do if the parking is full. The entire lot has been assigned to specific programs so we ask that members do not park in non-WBC spots. Once the front spots are full we ask members to utilize the satellite lots.
Parents are asked to please not wait in the parking lot during practice, as space is quite limited and spots must be made available for those who drove themselves. Satellite lots are available and are to be used by all non-WBC members during the racing seasons (February-May, September-November).
No one is ever permitted to drive past the front edge of the red building, for any reason including to turn around. That area must remain safe and clear for boat moving and handling.
